I told my Mom about what James did.
“Oh, I am so sorry, sweetie!” my Mom told me.
“It’s fine. I don’t want to waste my time on someone who does bad things,” I replied.
I sat on my bed as I read a book and did my homework. I am really good at multitasking. All of a sudden I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
“Hello?” I asked.
“May I come in?” a voice asked. I knew that voice. It was the sound of the foolish voice I had just gotten to know. James.
“I know who you are, and why are you in my house?” I asked.
“I just wanted to tell you that I am sorry,” he said.
“You already told me you were sorry, and I said that I forgave you. What do you want from me now?” I was considering what he had just said. Why was he asking me for forgiveness again? I already said that I forgave him.
“I still feel like I should make it up to you,” he said.
“How are you going to do that? I don’t want anything from you,” I said.
“I don’t know,” he said, “Maybe we could just be friends?”
“Sure, but I have to do my homework now,” I replied.
“You still don’t sound convinced,” he said trying to pull me into something that I was sure that wasn’t good.
“What do you want from me. I know you are trying to do something,” I demanded.
“Listen. I know that I am one of the most popular kids at school… but I am lonely. I only want your friendship,” he said sounding sad.
All of a sudden I felt sad for him. I had never heard him sound so lonely before. He sounded like me when I was sad.
“Oh. I am really sorry, and I can relate to how you feel,” I said, “I guess we could be friends.”
I smiled at him. Even though someone might do something wrong, that doesn’t mean that that is who they really are.
“Do you want to play a video game?” I asked.
“Sure!” he replied.
It seemed like every day, I learned something new. James and I played some video games for a little while, and then he had to go home.
“I had a lot of fun!” he said.
“That is good. See you tomorrow at school!” I said.
I smiled to myself, and sat down to watch some TV. All of a sudden my Mom got an important message on her phone.
“Briana,” she said, “Where is James right now,” my Mom asked with worry in her voice.
“He is walking on his way home. Why do you ask?” I asked.
“There is a tornado warning, and he is out there all alone! Go and get him!”
YAY!!! CLIFFANGERS!!!! XDDD Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this story! Sorry that this is late, Sam. I was really busy. Also, I am going on a week long hiatus. My dolls will still be posting on The Diary of Two Dolls, but I won’t be posting on my blog. Have a great day!
